January 2016 Board Meeting

The next HOA meeting will be held on Monday January 25, 2016 at 6pm at the clubhouse. Residents are invited to attend.

November 2015 Board Meeting Minutes

SCOTTSDALE COLONY
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING
November 23, 2015


The board meeting was called to order at 6:08 PM.  Board members attending: Suzanne Muusers, Brian Weimer, Lance Donatello, and John Frigo.   Also attending: Steve Cheff of Heywood Realty and Scott Sowl of Kleanrite Landscaping.

Time was given to Scott to discuss some of the landscape issues..

The minutes from the last board meeting were approved.

The financial statement for October was reviewed and approved.  Steve to produce a special assessment collection report so the board can determine more easily who is or is not paying the assessment.

Old Business:
The board reviewed the bids for removal of the dead pine tree by the 6350 mailboxes.  The board approved the bid by Turf and Trees for this removal and stump grinding.

The board discussed the driveway project.  The contractor with the low bid has not been returning phone calls or emails.  Steve to contact the next lowest bidder, New Look Restorations, to have him update his bid with current pricing.

The gate to the canal and the chain link fence by the solar water heater have yet to be done.  The contractor is running behind due to the rains we have had.  He should get these completed in the next few weeks.

New Business:
The board reviewed the proposed budget for 2016.  Steve to revise the budget with increases in painting and grounds maintenance.  The contribution to the reserves to remain the same.

There will be no meeting in December.

Steve to have a/c units serviced.

Violations:
The Board discussed delinquencies and violations.  Management to take approved measures to correct problems.

October 2015 Board Meeting Minutes

SCOTTSDALE COLONY
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING
October 20, 2015


The board meeting was called to order at 6:12 PM.  Board members attending: Suzanne Muusers, Brian Weimer, and John Frigo.   Also attending: Steve Cheff of Heywood Realty.

The minutes from the last board meeting were approved.

The financial statement for September was reviewed and approved.

Old Business:
Steve to ask Excel Pools to patch the coping on the pool deck where it has chipped off.

The board authorized to start on the driveways when the contractor can get it scheduled..

New Business:
The board discussed the seal coating of the asphalt.  Plan on starting in April 2016.  Management to get bids for the February meeting.

The board approved to get a new gate installed to the canal.  They approved option 2 of the proposal submitted by New Look Restorations.  The gate is to be painted to match the trim color of the buildings.  It should be keyed the same as the pool key.

The board discussed the 2016 budget.  They would like the budget to reflect an increase in the monthly dues of 3%, with the new amount being $167 per unit per month.  Also the budget should have $2,000 - $3,000 for painting so touch ups can be done where needed.

There will be no meeting in December.

September 2015 Board Meeting Minutes

SCOTTSDALE COLONY
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION MEETING
September 28, 2015


The board meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.  Board members attending: Suzanne Muusers, Brian Weimer, Lance Donatello and John Frigo.   Also attending: Steve Cheff of Heywood Realty and Allison McGowan.

Time was given to Scott of Kleanrite Landscaping to discuss issues regarding the landscaping of the community.

The minutes from the last board meeting were approved.

The financial statement for July was reviewed and approved.  The board would like to know what the expenditure of $1,648 was for.  Also the board would like a chart of special assessment collections for the next meeting.

Old Business:
The board asked about when the chain link fence would be installed by the solar water heater.

The board authorized to start on the driveways when the contractor can get it scheduled..

New Business:
The board discussed the seal coating of the asphalt.  Plan on starting in April 2016.  Management to get bids for the February meeting.

The board approved to get a new fence installed to protect the solar water heater equipment.

The gate to the canal is not locking.  The board would like some bids on a heavy duty gate that is very secure and looks nice.

Violations:
The Board discussed delinquencies and violations.  Management to take approved measures to correct problems.
